Easy Traditional Deviled Eggs

April 19, 2014 by Kelly

Easy, Traditional Deviled Eggs

Easy Traditional Deviled Eggs! This recipe is such a snap to make. If you’re looking for an easy traditional, picnic style, deviled egg… look no further. This is as easy and traditional as it gets 🙂 I love the traditional deviled egg flavors! The simplicity of mustard and relish makes this recipe a winner. I’m not the biggest mayo fan… so I always add some sour cream to the mix to lighten it up. It makes it nice and creamy, but not as rich. I’ve also used non-fat greek yogurt when I’m being super good 😉

Ingredients:

  • 6 hard boiled eggs (make sure you click here for the perfect hard boiled egg recipe that peels effortlessly!)
  • 2 Tbs. mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbs. sour cream
  • 1 1/2 Tbs. sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Paprika, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Slice eggs in half lengthwise. Spoon yolks into medium size bowl.
  2. Add mayo, sour cream, relish, and mustard to your egg yolks. Mix well, making sure to mash up all of the yolks. Salt & pepper to taste.
  3. Spoon or pipe mixture into egg whites. Garnish with sweet paprika. Bon Appétit! Easy Traditional Deviled Eggs!
